I can’t speak highly enough of Daniel Seldon, the 26th person I’ve met on my quest to have lunch with 500 strangers.

Dan is the owner of The List Group, a marketing agency that specialises in providing marketing lists and data management services. During the course of our two-hour meal, Dan generously shared 20-plus years of business knowledge with me.

I left with a notepad full of ideas – and then arrived home to find an inbox full of follow-up emails.

Dan is as professional as he is generous. I was impressed to discover that he’d done his research before our lunch. He’d found out that I’d recently started a business, which was why he arrived ready to share.

Dan passed on some terrific advice about strategy, marketing and administration. He’s got a very sharp business brain, so I listened intently and took notes.

As we were saying our goodbyes, Dan’s final words were: “Let me know if there’s ever anything I can do to help.” That sums him up.
